Riding the trolley
How do I ride the I-Ride Trolley?
Wait at a marked I-Ride stop on the side of the road going your direction. Board, pay $2 in exact cash or show your pass, and get off at the stop for your destination. North stops are for northbound trolleys and South stops for southbound trolleys.
Do I need exact change?
Yes. Drivers do not carry change. Passes are not sold on board, so buy one before you ride.
Can I switch between the Red and Green Lines?
Yes, free, at the transfer stops marked with stars on the route map. Cash riders should ask the driver for a transfer ticket when getting off at the transfer stop.
Ride all day for $8
Unlimited-ride passes for 1, 3, 5, 7 or 14 days ($8, $10, $12, $18, $22) cover both lines, with transfers included.
Stop numbers are from the official I-Ride Trolley guide. Stops can move, so check the sign or the route map (PDF) before you ride. The stops and places map (PDF) lists even more spots by stop. Last checked October 2026.
